Methods for Finding Multiples from a Math Tutor

The most common way to find multiples shared by a math tutor is to use multiplication. Multiplication of whole numbers always results in multiples of the numbers being multiplied. To find the first few multiples of 2559, you could just multiply 2559 by 1, then 2, then 3, and so on, until you have as many multiples as you would like. This is shown in the next section.

For younger students that don’t know how to multiply yet, the same result can be found just by counting, or skip-counting. To find multiples of any number, just add the number to itself multiple times.
