For Instance, if you want to find the multiples of 3124, you could start at 3124, and keep adding 3124 over and over: 3124, 6248, 9372, 12496, and so on. Each of these numbers is a multiple of 3124. Typically, this works best only for smaller numbers, as adding larger numbers together over and over can be difficult.
