Multiples of 1684

Multiples of 1684 are any number that can be divided by 1684 without any remainder. In other words, any number that can be split into multiple 1684s, without anything extra. Another way to understand multiples is to compare them to counting an object. For instance, I may have one ball, or I may have six balls, but I can’t have 3 and a half balls.

The most common way to find multiples is to use multiplication. Multiplication of whole numbers always results in multiples of the numbers being multiplied. To find the first few multiples of 1684, you could just multiply 1684 by 1, then 2, then 3, and so on, until you have as many multiples as you would like. This is shown in the next section.

For younger students that don’t know how to multiply yet, the same result can be found just by counting, or skip-counting. To find multiples of any number, just add the number to itself multiple times.
