Multiples of 953

Multiples of 953 are any number that can be divided by 953 without any remainder. In other words, any number that can be split into multiple 953s, without anything extra. The most common way to find multiples is to use multiplication. Multiplication of whole numbers always results in multiples of the numbers being multiplied. To find the first few multiples of 953, you could just multiply 953 by 1, then 2, then 3, and so on, until you have as many multiples as you would like. This is shown in the next section.

For younger students that don’t know how to multiply yet, the same result can be found just by counting, or skip-counting. To find multiples of any number, just add the number to itself multiple times. For instance, if you want to find the multiples of 953, start at 953 and keep adding 953 over and over: 953, 1906, 2859, 3812, and so on. Each of these numbers is a multiple of 953.
