Multiples of 2703

Multiples of 2703 are any number that can be divided by 2703 without any remainder. In other words, any number that can be split into multiple 2703s, without anything extra. Another way to understand multiples is to compare them to counting an object. For instance, I may have one ball, or I may have six balls, but I can’t have 3 and a half balls.

The most common way to find multiples is to use multiplication. Multiplication of whole numbers always results in multiples of the numbers being multiplied. To find the first few multiples of 2703, you could just multiply 2703 by 1, then 2, then 3, and so on, until you have as many multiples as you would like. This is shown in the next section.

For younger students that don’t know how to multiply yet, the same result can be found just by counting, or skip-counting. To find multiples of any number, just add the number to itself multiple times. For instance, if you want to find the multiples of 2703, start at 2703 and keep adding 2703 over and over: 2703, 5406, 8109, 10812, and so on. Each of these numbers is a multiple of 2703.
