Method 1 from a Math Tutor – Converting 234/1995 Into a Percentage:

This works because multiplying both the numerator and the denominator by the same number is like multiplying it by 1. (0.05 / 0.05 = 1)
Re-writing the result as a percentage, we can see that 234/1995 as a percentage is 11.729%.
Method 2 from a Tutor – Converting 234/1995 Into a Percentage Using Decimals:
Another common way to convert a fraction into a percentage is to first convert the fraction into a decimal. To convert 234/1995 into a percentage, you would first convert 234/1995 into a decimal by dividing the numerator by the denominator:
Once you have converted the fraction into a decimal, you can simply multiply by 100 to get the percentage:
0.117 x 100 = 11.729
And there you go! Now we can see that 234/1995 as a percentage is 11.729%, the same way we did with the first method.
